Why not try this tasty recipe for berry protein pancakes to get your pancake fix? These pancakes contain slow-digesting carbs, plenty of fibre, and a hefty dose of protein – great for a diet or workout!!

Protein Pancakes with Takamaka

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1 Cup  Oats (or other grain)

2  Whole Eggs

5  Egg Whites

2 Scoops Protein Powder

1  Banana (sliced)

1 Cup  Berries

2 tbsp  Peanut Butter

Dash  Cinnamon (to taste)

2 tbsp Takamaka Coconut Oil

Method:

Cook the oats as directed.
Add the eggs and egg whites and beat.
Toss in protein, banana, berries, and peanut butter and stir.
Shake some cinnamon over the mixture.
Place a pan on high heat and add coconut oil.
Spoon in the mixture a little at a time to make silver dollar-size pancakes.
Flip when bubbles appear on the surface.
Try and avoid the ceiling!
